Hematopoiesis is theorized to work on the basis of a monophyletic construct, which means a single stem cell, also known as a pluripotent cell, gives rise to all of the different mature types of blood cells in our bodies. This monophyletic theory is the one most widely accepted and supported in literature. Extramedullary hematopoiesis (EH) refers to the hematopoiesis that occurs in organs other than bone marrow. Normal hematopoiesis, which occurs in the fetal yolk sac, liver, and spleen, is an example of active EH; it is programmed as an essential process for routine fetal development. We found recently that repeated lipopolysaccharide (LPS) treatment induces HLH-like features in senescence-accelerated mice (SAMP1/TA-1) but not in senescence-resistant control mice (SAMR1). In this study, we analyzed the dynamics of hematopoiesis in this mouse model of HLH. When treated extramedullary hematopoiesis: [ he″mah-to-poi-e´sis ] the formation and development of blood cells. In the embryo and fetus it takes place in a variety of sites including the liver, spleen, thymus, lymph nodes, and bone marrow; from birth throughout the rest of life it is mainly in the bone marrow with a small amount occurring in lymph nodes. A number of studies have now confirmed that the development of the hematopoietic system, in humans and other mammals, occurs in two phases: a primitive Hematopoiesis is the development and formation of blood cells. Blood cells arise from hematopoietic stem cells rather than from the division of mature blood cells.
It is continually in progress in all healthy humans and most animals.

process involving the formation of the mature, functional red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and miscellaneous other cell types (osteoclasts, dendritic cells, etc). Haematopoiesis is the formation of blood cellular components. All cellular blood components are derived from haematopoietic stem cells.
hematopoiesis and erythropoiesis - Drie
Bone marrow is the major site of hematopoiesis. As the RBCs and platelets have a limited life span, they need to be replaced continuously. HEMATOPOIESIS - LADI ANUDEEP ISM-IUK.
Hematopoiesis is the process by which all the different cell lineages that form the blood and immune system are generated from a common pluripotent stem cell.

The three main types of cells are the red cells (erythrocytes), which serve to carry oxygen, the white cells (leukocytes), which function in the prevention of and recovery from disease, and the thrombocytes, which function in blood clotting. Among the fundamental questions in normal and leukemic hematopoiesis that systems biology will address are: integration of signaling pathways, circuits, and networks that determine cell fate, multiscale modeling of stem cell plasticity, synthesis of genetic and epigenetic data, global analysis of phosphoproteins, dynamics of hematopoiesis in the bone marrow microenvironment presented in 3 Hematopoiesis Hypothesis.
Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) is a common age-related condition that represents a potential pre-phase of hematologic neoplasm. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is used to detect and monitor clonal hematopoiesis, and the spectrum of mutations substantially overlaps with that of myeloid neoplasms with DNMT3A , TET2 , ASXL1 , and JAK2 being the most frequently mutated. Hematopoiesis is the production of all the blood cells including RBCs, WBCs, and platelets. Bone marrow is the major site of hematopoiesis.
